The songs on this album were written right around the events of 9-11-01. You can almost see the cutoff time right after "My Piano", the songs mellowed out quite a bit. That being said, this album contains some of my best written songs. And while working on getting these songs on the website, I got to relive the emotions I was feeling at the time. All I ask is that you put up with my not-too-perfect voice and enjoy the songs for the lyrics, music and the emotion I was trying to exude. On a sidenote, it was about this time I did audition singers to do the vocals, but I could not find anyone that could put the emotion into the songs I thought they deserved. If you are that singer, I would love to hear from you.
